SHORTCODES EXPLAINED

admin_slug_types

You can use the following short code: [gridwud slug="cat_or_tag"] where “cat_or_stag” is the category  or tag  slug you want.

To display selected posts by ID use the short code [gridwud slug="x,xx,xxx"] where “x are the post ID’s.

To display Multiple grids (max. 10 groups) in one collection use short code:
[[slug=”cat” group=”first_cat, second_cat”]] where slug=”cat” indicates that slugs used in group=”” are categories.

[[slug=”tag” group=”first_tag, second_tag”]] where slug=”tag” indicates that slugs used in group=”” are tags.


ADDITIONAL GRID WUD SHORT CODES

Multiple grids (max. 10 groups) in one collection is possible with the next short codes:
slug=”cat”
where cat indicates that the group contains categories.
slug=”tag” 
where tag indicates that the group contains tags.
group=””
if  slug cat is used, use category slugs (comma separated).
group=””
if slug tag is used, use tags slugs (comma separated).
[hgb=”x”] If 1 it will hide the first group button.

[nofeatimg=”1″] Block access to the featured image.

shape=”x”
, where x is the number of the style to show (see options page for the referring numbers)
This option gives you the possibility to show more than 1 style per post/page.
tempo

grid=”x” , it will shows x grids, instead the quantity from the Grid WUD settings

popup=”x” , if “1” it will show after a click on a tile/grid, the content as popup with read a more button.

button=”x″ , if  “0” force Grids lay-out, “1” hide the Button, “2” force Archive page lay-out.

skip=”x” , it will skip x recent posts, where x is the quantity to skip.

slug=”wud-latest”, if you use as slug code wud-latest, it will display your latest post from all categories and tags, ordered by descending date.

title=”your custom title will replace the default category, tag, pods, or other title.

sticky=”x”  to force sticky post only.

bg=”x” will hide the background images from the tiles and grids.
If x is 1 to 5, it will display the excerpt with title and a background color defined in the settings page.
If x is 11 to 15, it will display the excerpt without title and a background color defined in the settings page.

Settings page background colors excerpts:
_tempo

[tiles=”x”]  force to show grids (x=0), tiles (x=1) or tiles with shadow (x=2).

[order=”x”]  to force the Order by and Order direction, (see settings page and sample below) first x is number from: ‘Order by’ and second x is  is number from: ‘Order direction’.
_tempo
If [order=”99″] it shows the posts in random order.


WOOCOMMERCE SHORT CODES

[ slug=”woocommerce”] shows all the Woocommerce articles.

[gray=”1″] it will force to show the images in color, even if the standard Grid-WUD setting is gray images.

[woocss=”1″] it will show detailed info about the article and on hover every other info.

[woocss=”2″] it will show the article title only and on hover every other info.


CUSTOM POST SHORT CODES: CP=”X” 

CP=”X”

If the short code contains cp=”1″ or cp=”2″ , we using a predefined custom post type title (see Options Page-> Custom Post Type Title 1 or 2).

It also indicates, that we will try to find the custom post type name given in  the slug=”” to display the corresponding posts.

Sample: your custom post type name haves the name: ‘custom_p_type’
To display these corresponding posts use the short code:
[gridwud slug="custom_post_type" cp="1"].
Where custom_post_type is the slug from your Custom Post Type.

CUSTOM POST SHORT CODES: PODS=”X” 

PODS=”X”

If the short code contains pods=”1″ or pods=”2″ , we using a predefined custom post type title (see Options Page-> Custom Post Type Title 1 or 2) if no Pods category or Pods tag title is found.

It also indicates, that we will try to find the “Pods – Custom Content Types and Fields” name given in  the slug=”” to display the corresponding posts.

Sample: your Pods – Custom Content Types and Fields haves a project type: ‘custom_pods_type’
To display these corresponding posts use the short code:
[gridwud slug="custom_pods_type" pods="1"].
Where custom_pods_type is the slug from your Project Type.
The given slug can be a Pods: project, project type or category.
